Montgomery Advertiser Sept 20, 1978

Irving Pouncey, age 85, died September 20, 1978 and was buried at
Friendship Holiness Church in Butler County.  He was a resident of 
Rt 3 Georgiana, Alabama.  Survivors:  Mrs. Louise Pouncey, his wife; 
daughters:  Mrs. T. J. Salter, Mrs, Henry Taylor, both of Greenville, 
Mrs. Earl Herring of Killen Texas, Mrs. Walton Boyle of Houston Texas, 
and Mrs. Henry Rogers of Contonment Florida; sons:  Arthur Ray Pouncey 
of Georgiana, Howard Pouncey of Greenville, Fred Pouncey of Wetumpka, 
John W. Pouncey of Houston Texas, and Jimmy of Greenville, Alabama; 
brother:  Louis Pouncey of Atmore, Alabama.
