Obituary notice  July 7, 1974

Ira Nathan Pouncey, age 77, died Friday, he was a resident of Rt 1,
Greenville, Alabama.  He is buried at Friendship Holiness Church in Butler 
County.  Survivors:  his wife Annie E Pouncey of Rt 1 Greenville; daughters: 
Neva Bozeman of Montgomery, Mabel Newton of Greenville, and Ann Skipper of
Greenville; son:  Nathan Pouncey of Rt 2, Georgiana,  Sisters:  Lela Salter,
and Ann Growski of Greenville, Eula Till, Lena Higdon, of Georgiana, Jessie
Lee Odom of Pensacola, Lennie Till of Montgomery, and Adele Douglas of
Andalusia.  Brothers:  Arthur R. Pouncey of Greenville, Herman Pouncey of 
Montgomery, and J. C. Pouncey of Charlotte, N. C.
