It is believed that the shot was self-inflicted, and thought that he might have been cleaning his shotgun when it was discharged. Mr. Reaves was employed by the Louisville & Nashville Railroad. He was 33 years of age. Surviving are the father, Benjamin M. Reaves, Greenville; one son, Floyd Allen Reaves, Greenville; three brothers, R. A. Reaves, J. W. Reaves, and E. B. Reaves, all of Georgiana; three sisters, Mrs. India Lee White, Greenville; Mrs. Dora Lee Petter, Georgiana, and Mrs. J. C. Hendrix of Mobile. Grave side services were held on Tuesday from Shackleville cemetery with Rev. Jamime Waite officiating. Dunklin Funeral Home in charge. Additional Comments: It is believed by relatives (his wife was my grandmother) that Noah was killed by another man, who later killed himself.
