Funeral services were held Sunday, March 3, at 1:30 p.m. for the East Chapman Baptist Church with the Rev. James Owens officiating. Burial was in teh church cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nita Bass Shell, Georgiana; two sons, Eddie Wayne Shell of Auburn; Alton Clive Shell, Americus, GA; one sister, Mrs. Meryle Shell Lovett, Flomaton; one brother, Thurston Bartow Shell, Pensacola, Fla; three grandchildren; two nephews. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- MRS. NITA B. SHELL Mrs. Nita Pearl Bass Shell, 87, a resident of Georgiana before moving to the Alabama Masonic Home, died Monday, November 14, 1994. Funeral Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 15 at 2 p.m. for the East Chapman Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing. Survivors include two sons, Eddie Wayne Shell of Auburn; Alton Clive Shell, Americus, GA; two sisters, Mrs. Stella Hill, Montgomery Mrs. ELizabeth Sullivan, Dothan; one brother, Thurston Bartow Shell, Pensacola, Fla; three grandchildren. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CECIL SHELL Cecil Shell, 85, a resident of Greenville, died July 7, 1997, in a Greenville nursing facility. Funeral services were Wednesday, July 9, 1997, at 2 p.m. from the Brushey Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Wilson Shell officiating.Burial followed in the church cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing. Survivors inlcuded: three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Matthews of Troy, Mrs. Maymie Chambliss and Mrs Eunice Perdue, both of Greenville; and a number of neices and nephews.
