PFC Richard E. Stacey served with Co. C, 148th Infantry, 37th Infantry Buckeye 
Division, and was killed during Operation Cartwheel of WWII at New Georgia, 
Solomon Islands. Survived by mother and father, Beulah and William Stacey of 
Greenville.

This information was supplied to me. The name of the paper and date are 
unknown.  Information was found in a "Stacey" surname file at the BGS.  The 
name of the paper and date were not attached to the article.
