Calhoun County AlArchives Cemeteries.....Moore Cemetery - Complete Survey ************************************************ Copyright. To reach the cemetery, travel North on Highway 21 from Anniston to Jacksonville. Turn West (left) onto Highway 204. Travel a good distance to West Point Grocery, there is a caution light here (the 2nd one you come to). Turn North (right) onto Highway 73 (West Point Road). The cemetery is .9 miles from the turn and will be on the right. The cemetery name is on a brick wall and is almost covered with hedges, however the cemetery itself is very neat and well kept. The cemetery is surrounded by woods on three sides with a couple of the graves in the woods. The survey was completed on June 12-13, 2002 by the submitter and her husband. We began on the left side of each row beginning closest to the road. The unmarked graves were obvious burials or those marked with rocks. I am sure there are more that were unseen. I have included personal research information in parenthasis. If errors are found please e-mail me.
