LAND PURCHASE State of Alabama City Court of Anniston - In Equity Calhoun County Be it Known to All Whom it May Concern, That, whereas, at a sale made by the Clerk of the City of Anniston, in said State and County in the cause of -----------------------------------------------------------SALLIE MCKIBBON, et al---------------------------------------------------------------------- against-----------------------------------------------LULA HYATT---------- ---- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- under and by Virtue of a decree of sale in the above stated cause rendered on the 25th day of October 1912, said sale having been made by public outcry at the front door of the Court House of said Court, in Anniston Alabama, after having been duly advertised by publication for three successive weeks in the ANNISTON STAR and HOT BLAST, a newspaper published in Anniston, Alabama, and by posting a notice thereof in front of the Court House door of said Court for thirty days previous to said, on --------------------------- -----------------------------------------------------R.G. (RICHARD GAINES) ROBERTS ---------------------------------------------------------- being the highest and best bidder at said sale, became the purchaser of the real estate hereinafter described, at the sum of -----SIX HUNDRED FIVE- ----- Dollars: Now, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, and full payment to me t he purchase money aforesaid, the receipt where of is hereby acknowledge d. I, A.H. Shepperd, Clerk of the City Court of Anniston, in said State and County, by virtue of authority in me vested by said decree of said Court, and the further authority in me vested by a decree of said Court entered in the above stated cause on the 29 day of NOVEMBER 1912 ordering me to make a deed to the purchaser of said property at said sale, have sold and conveyed, and by these presen ts do hereby bargain, sell and convey unto the said --------------R.G. (RICHARD GAINES) ROBERTS-----all the right title and interest of ---SALLIE MCKIBBON, LULA HYATT ---- and of each and all parties to this suit, in and to the following described real estate situated in ------the TOWN OF OXFORD, CALHOUN COUNTY, ALABAMA----- to-wit: Lot Number three (3), Lot Number four (4 and Lot Number seven (7), according to the plat attached as an Exhibit to the Original Bill in said case, and also of record in the Office of the Judge of Probate, being the Re-Subdivision of Block 31, in OXFORD, that being the homestead of RACHAEL WARNOCK, deceased; TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the aforegranted premises to the said --------------------- ----------------------------------------------- -----------------------------------R.G.
