Mr. S. F. Zimbal our humble writer has been a permanent and efficient factor in the noble work of making this a camp of the up most efficiency. Mr. Zimbal gladdened the Camp with his presence some sixteen months ago and since that time has built for himself an alter of glory around which are woven many tales of intricacy in the way of ably assisting in the movement of troops in and out of the Camp. Under the protecting wing of General Morton he was a personage to be relied upon when it came to any dispute as to how a thing should be done. The population of Anniston has long since come to know of Mr. Zimbal and his able cohorts of the Transportation Branch. Mr. Zimbal was sent to this post from the War Department Office at Washington, D. C. Now that the great crisis of the World War is with us and his great work has been so masterly and efficiently performed Mr. Zimbal is now wrapped and ready to return to his former post of duty. While we are all glad to see him be able to return to his wife and family we feel that a sad day is about to befall us when we shall lose this most efficient gentleman. His ever lasting smile will be a permenant fixture in all our minds and we only can wish him as great a success in the days to come as he has had in the building of one of the greatest camps in the country.
