Tate, a leading attorney of this city and Sam P. Ingram, county chairman for the $25,000,000 road bond issue, went to Piedmont. Friday night and perfected the organization of a central commitee at that place. The Anniston visitors met with several of the leading citizens of Piedmont, all of whom exhimited live interest in the question of securing a solid vote for the road measure to be decided by the people of the state on February 16. Reports from Piedmont and the northern part of the county are to the effect that the 100 percent guarantee of the people of the progressive section will be fully justified by the voters when they come to pass upon the measure next month; and these reports are bringing good cheer into the campaing head- quarters where Mr. Ingram is waging a good fight with the aid of such patriots as Judge Tate.
