HOLDEN HELD AT CHURCH. Baptist Minister for About Fifty Years Laid to Rest at Landers Cemetery. Funeral services for Rev. Joseph C. Holden, a Baptist preacher for almost a half century, were held at New Liberty Church this afternoon. Rev. M.L. Keith of Jacksonville officiated and interment was in Landers Cemetery, with Brown in charge. Rev. Holden had been in ill health for the last several months. He died Sunday, two months after the death of his wife. Rev. Holden came to Calhoun County about forty years ago and had lived near Wellington since that time. He came here from Georgia. Surviving are a son, and three daughters. Pallbearers were F.M. Allsup, L.C. Roper, E.H. Britton, Charles Thomason, E.L. Smith and John Bradley. Additional Comments: Joe C. holden was born in Georgia on May 5, 1851, and died September 18, 1932 in Calhoun County Alabama.
