Ed Mellon of Oxford, died at her residence in Clover, S. C. at 11 o'clock yesterday. Mrs. Mellon taught school in Oxford Elementary School for many years and was a member of the Dodson Memorial Presbyterian Church in Oxford. She had resided in Clover, S.C., for the past three years. Graveside services for Mrs. Mellon will be held at the Oxford Cemetery tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock, Usrey in charge. Regular funeral services were held at the residence in Clover, S. C., at 8 o'clock this morning. She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Howard Patrick of Clover, S. C.; Mrs. Earl Steel of Rock Hill, S. C.; and Mrs. Wallace Marshall of Pensacola, Fla., and one brother, Gus Brandon of Charlotte, N. C. Pallbearers at the graveside servces tomorrow will be: H. T. Stanford, Robert Lamar, Lewis Downing, Gus Heifner, Dr. B. F. Caffey and Ben Dormon.
