Orr James A. Orr, 94, of 1130 S. Hale St., Oxford, died Saturday in a local hospital after a short illness. Funeral services were today at 2 P.M. at the First Baptist Church of Oxford with Dr. Eli Landrum officiating. Burial will be in the Oxford Cemetery with Gray Brown - Service Mortuary in charge. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Stella Roberts Orr; three sisters, Mrs. J. L. Whiteside and Mrs. Ellen T. Hall, both of Oxford, and Mrs. J. H. Harwood of Atlanta, Ga.; and a brother, John B. Orr of Oxford. Pallbearers will be John Harwood, Tull Allen, Frank Butenschon Jr., Harry Embry, Paul Locke, and Emmett Freel. Mr. Orr was a native of Oxford and was a deacon of the First Baptist Church of Oxford. He was a retired shoe salesman.
