THOMAS C. POOLE SR.

Thomas C. Poole, Sr., 74, of 624 Leighton Ave., Anniston died Wednesday at 
Anniston Memorial Hospital after an automobile accident.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Gray Brown-Service chapel with 
the Rev. John Hall officiating.  Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery, Leeds.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Grace O. Poole, two daughters, Mrs. Sam 
Mellon Jr., of Oxford, and Mrs. Lucille Darrah of Saranac Lake, N.Y.; a son, 
T.C. Poole Jr., of Anniston; two sisters, Mrs. Roy W. Gable of Gadsden, and 
Mrs. Hugh Whitfield of Talladega, and two brothers, Fred Poole of Talladega, 
and A. J. Poole of Vincent.

Mr. Poole was a native of Leeds and a resident of Anniston the past 45 years.  
He was retired employe of Alabama Power Co. and a member of First Presbyterian 
Church and Masonic Lodge.

The family requests memorial be made to the Cancer Fund.

The body will remain at the funeral home through services.
