Pugh, 84, of 902 Carter Street a retired blacksmith and resident of Anniston most of his life died Thursday afternoon at Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Funeral services will be held at the 1st Wesleyan Methodist Church Saturday 2:30p.m. with the Rev.'s Ed Pointer and Jimmy Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Wayside Cemetery. Grey Brown directing. The body will lie in state at 902 Carter Street until time of services. Survivors include: 4 sons- Raymond of Wellington, L.W. J.R. and C.R. Pugh of Anniston. 1 daughter - Mrs. Cora Talley of Anniston with whom he made his home; three sisters - Lucy Bishop of Anniston, Bama Harris and Mae Jones of Birmingham. 28 gradchildren and 56 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are William, Jack, Terry, Felton Pugh and David and Homer Talley. Honorary Pallbearers: Grady Pugh, Allie Joe Taylor, Wesley Vinson, Turman White, Joe Quick, Emmett Harvey, James Brown, Bud Taylor, Marvin Bishop, J.W.
