Funeral Notice Anniston Star Newspaper
     Funeral services for the Rev. John R. Talley age 57 Baptist Minister of 
918 Carter Street died at this home early yesterday morning after an illness 
of several months, were conducted this afternoon from West Anniston Baptisti 
Church.  The Rev. A.m. Stancell of CHattanooga TN and the Rev. Durre Woods 
officiating.  Internment at Pine Grove with Jones Directing.
     The Rev. Talley helped organixe the 19th Street Baptist Church.  He has 
resided in Anniston the last 19 years - survivors his wife, a daughter Mrs. 
L.W. Pugh of Anniston - 9 sons: Rev. B.L. Talley of Chattanooga - Rev. R.P. 
Talley of Birmingham - Rev. T.B. Talley, Claude, Echol, Willie, Frank, Benton 
and Vester Talley all of Anniston.
