James Thrower Dies At Home

James Floyd Thrower, 80 of Heflin, Rt. 3, a retired farmer,
died yesterday morning at his residence after a lengthy illness.
He had resided in the same house in Chulafinnee area all his
live and was a member of the Chulafinnee Masonic Lodge and
Chulafinnee Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held at 3 o'clock this afternoon at
Liberty Hill Methodist Church, with the Revs. A. T. Haywood
and Bario? Mason officiating. Burial was in the adjacent
cemetery, Usrey directing.
Graveside rites will be conducted by Masons of his lodge.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Ada L., Thrower; one
son, Aubrey, of Blue Mountain; two daughters, Mrs Syd
Boyd and Mrs. Roy Davidson, Heflin, Rt 3; 12 grandchildren
and four great grandchildren. 
Active pallbearers were Doyce McLeroy, Roy Denman, 
A. G. Yates, L. B. Zaner, Howard Haywood and M. M. Rollins.
