Mrs. Martha Whitlock
	Mrs. Martha Whitlock, wife of Mr. J.P. Whitlock, died at her home in 
this city on Monday the 2nd day of October.
	Mrs. Whitlock who had lived to a ripe old age, had resided in this 
section many years where she was well known and beloved.  During the last years 
of her life she was a great sufferer and her death was not unexpected.  The 
Inquirer tenders sympathy to the bereaved husband and children and sorrowing 
relatives and friends.  The funeral services were held at her late residence 
Tuesday afternoon, by her pastor, the Rev. I.Q. Melton, interment following at 
the city cemetery.
