Sarah Ann Stephens is buried in Coldwater Baptist Church Cemetery in Calhoun 
County, AL, only a few feet from the back church wall.  The tombstone says:  
Sarah Ann Stephens / Nov. 12, 1823 / Apr. 28, 1888 / Having finished life's 
duty she now sweetly rests.

After Sarah's death, her husband Overton moved to Crenshaw County, and his 
daughter Elizabeth Stephens Davis moved to Mobile.  Elizabeth's son Leige 
Davis lived in Baldwin County for several years.

Additional Comments:
Sarah Ann's great-granddaughters, Alberta Broughton and Mae Ola Davis, raised 
their families in the Bay Minette area.  Sarah Ann Stephens has hundreds of 
descendants living in Baldwin County.
