Morgan Born October 22, 1830 Died August 7, 1904 MORGAN Reuben P. Morgan Born October 26, 1829. Died November 8, 1892. Shaw Note: C.S.A. marker is at the foot of Reuben Phillip Morgan's tombstone. Reuben and Elizabeth M. Morgan were 1st cousins once removed. Reuben Phillip Morgan was the son of Jonathan J. Morgan (b. April 1, 1801 - d. May 4, 1890) and his first wife Priscilla Anderson Morgan (b. April 11, 1805 - d. July 19, 1832). Elizabeth M. Morgan was the daughter of Spencer Harrison Morgan (b. August 14, 1807 - d. August 15, 1891) and Sarah Carruthers Little Morgan (b. February 8, 1807 - d. September 27, 1889). They married on August 16, 1851 in Calhoun County, Alabama. The children from this marriage were: Sarah P. Morgan (b. August 16, 1852); John H. Morgan (b. February 2, 1854); Dan Morgan (b. about 1860); Mary Morgan (b. about 1865); Thomas Morgan (b. about 1868); William Thomas Morgan, III (b. 1869); Ruben Morgan (b. about 1870).
