ESTATE OF ALEXANDER HOWARD
Died 17 July 1879
Chambers Co., Alabama


Alexander Howard, Chambers Co. pioneer was born ca. 1802 in Georgia. He moved 
to Chambers Co., AL, ca. 1846, and shows there in the 1850 census. He was 
married twice and had a large family of twelve. At the time of his death in 
1879, his estate documents show the following heirs. I have added their full 
names from my personal research.

2.	Martha Ann McGlamery, wife of Frank McGlamery, deceased. Residence,

4.	Sarah J. Glass, widow of John D. Glass, Residence, Chambers Co., 
Alabama.
5.	Francis C. Davis, wife of John Davis, Residence, Chambers Co., Alabama.
6.	Amanda Louisa Autry, wife of Jackson Autry, Residence, Chambers Co., 
Alabama.

Children of second wife, Sarah Mooney Howard
 
7.	Mary H. Davis, wife of Robert Davis, Residence Harris Co., Georgia.
8.	George H. Howard, Residence, Chambers Co., Alabama.
9.	Alameda Ophelia Patrick, wife of J.M. Patrick, Residence, Berlin,

Note: There are two other children showing in the 1850 census, probable sons of 
Louisa Woods. Thomas J. Howard, born 1832, and Robert A. Howard, born 1834. 
They are presumed deceased by 1879.
