        Sale of Negroes

On the first Monday in January AD 1853 sold in pursuance of an order of the 
Honourable Court of Probate for Chambers County the following property 
belonging to the Estate of Henry L. Wilkerson, deceased.

1 Negroe Man named Young        Blacksmith
To Ann Wilkerson she being the highest and best bidder at said Sale for the 
sum of (on a credit untill the 25th Dec 1853)                           
$2013.00

1 Negroe Man named Joe - she being the highest & best bidder for same boy for 
the sum of ( on credit untill 25th Dec 1853)                        $1052.00

1 Negroe Man named Peter to M.B. Wilkerson he being the highest & best bidder 
at said sale for the sum of ( on a credit untill 25th Dec 1853)     $1000.00
