Section 12, Township 20, Range 28 East  of Tallapoosa Land District
Written: October 4, 1841
Recorded: February 18, 1843

Aaron Williams deeded the North West quarter of Section 12, Township 20, Range 28 
East in Tallapoosa Land District land containing one hundred and sixty acres in 
Chambers County, Alabama. 

In consideration paid by John W. Simmons of six hundred and fifty dollars


David S. Williams and C.F. Knight were witnesses to the deed 

Additional Comments:
A land patent is recorded in Chambers County, Alabama that includes this land. 
The land patent was for 320 acres, the northern half of section 12, Township 20, 
and Range 28 East.  This land was later in Lee County, Alabama when Lee was 
created. John W. Simmons was my Great-Great-Great Grandfather. Deed record on 
page 458 Chambers County Deed Records
