LaFayette Sun: April 22, 1896

	Also, on Wednesday, the Death Angel, which had been hovering over the 
weary spirit of Mrs. Eb. Davis for many months, descended and bore the freed 
spirit to that home where there is no pain or sadness. After long days of 
the most acute suffering, she is at rest. The funeral services were conducted 
at Rock Spring by her pastor, Rev. A. S. Smith. To the last she thought of the 
wishes and conveniences of those dear to her.

Penton - Mrs. Eb Davis, of Chapels Hill, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. 
M. H. Wilson, Wednesday at 8 o’clock, 
p.m.
