DEATH OF MR.  M. C.  KOON

   The many friends of Mr. M. C. Koon were grieved to learn of his death which 
occurred at his home in Glass on last Sunday evening, Jan. 16.  Mr.  Koon had 
been in ill health for several months, and his death was not unexpected.  His 
loved ones have the deepest sympathy of their many friends in their dark hour 
of bereavement.

  Besides his wife and three small children there are many other relatives and 
friends who are deeply grieved at his passing.  Rev.  Layton conducted the 
funeral service and the body was laid to rest in the cemetery at Glass.  The W. 
O. W., of which Mr.  Koon was faithful member, had charge of the burial.
