The Rev. Hewlett Aldridge will officate at the services, assisted by the Revs. John Smith and B. F. Miller. Interment will be in the Glass Cemetery with Johnson Company, Langdale, in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Scales, who was born in Lee County, had been a resident of Fairfax since early childhood. She had been in ill health for approximately a year. Mrs. Scales was a member of the Fairfax Methodist Church. Survivors include: her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Jesse Lee Rushton, Miami, Fla.; three sons, George L. and Jimmy C. Scales of Fairfax, Charles D. Scales of Destin, Fla.; five sisters, Mrs. J. P. Yarbrough, Atlanta; Mrs. A. B. Yarbrough, Mrs. B. C. Betts, Mrs. E. L. Workman and Mrs. H. E. Sanders, all of Fairfax; six brothers, J. M., L. V, and Ed Lamb, all of Fairfax; C. P. Lamb of Atlanta, and Dr. O. K. Lamb of Anniston; and six granchildren.
