Roanoke Leader
Mrs. Thad Key of Fairfax passed away last week at the Lanier Memorial Hospital in 
Langdale. Mrs. Key lived near Roanoke for a number of years before the family 
moved to Fairfax. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mattie Grace and 
Annie Mae Key, both of Fairfax, and two sons, Carl of Montgomery and John of 
Roanoke. Funeral services were conducted at Fairfax at three o'clock on Thursday 
afternoon, and interment was in the Bethel Baptist cemetery near Welch.
