LaFayette Sun and Chattahoochee Valley Times
Her epitaph was published in the LaFayette Sun and reproduced on the front page 
of the Chattahoochee Valley Times on November 11, 1931.  It reads, " Mrs. W. P. 
McGinty Passes at Riverview Saturday, Oct. 31. Mrs. Mollie McGinty, age 58 
years, died at her home in Riverview Saturday morning, October 31st, at 1 
o'clock, following a heart attack early last Friday night.  The beloved 
Riverview woman had been suffering for some time with high blood pressure which 
resulted in the attack last Friday.  Funeral services were held from the family 
residence last Sunday afternoon at three o'clock…the deceased was a member of 
the Baptist church and had lived a useful life in that community…internment was 
in the McGinty cemetery."
