Ellis Jr., 50, Selma, who died at 7 a.m. following a short illness. Services were to be conducted by the Rev. Albert Kaylor and the Rev. Jack Sharpe. Johnson-Brown Service Funeral Home, Langdale, will be in charge of burial. Mr. Ellis was a native of Abanda, born July 20, 1918, a son of Mrs. T.E. Ellis Sr., Langdale, and the late Mr. Ellis. He was a former resident of Langdale and was an aircraft mechanic at Craig Air Force Base in Selma. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Ellis, Brewton, and Barry Ellis, Selma; three sisters, Mrs. R.A. Hanson, Tuscaloosa, Mr. Albert Rice, FaibanKs, Alaska, and Mrs. Jack McGee, Texas, three brothers, Oliver Ellis, Fairfax, Don Ellis, Omaha, Neb., and Robert Ellis, Roswell, GA. Additional Comments: My Uncle Thomas' obit is set up the same way as my grandfather's, and I know his body was brought from Mobile to Langdale to be buried, but I have nothing as to where that obit was published. The newspaper does not have a year and I have been unable to find any of my documents that list a death date. I know he is buried in the same plot with Thomas & Addie in the Fairfax cemetery. If anyone can confirm his date of death, please let me know....BillieAnn BillieAnn@aol.com This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.net/alfiles/ File size: 1.9 Kb
