Roanoke Leader
Mrs. Elizabeth Ogletree, who made her home with her son, L. H. Ogletree, on 
Striplin Street died at the home early Tuesday morning. Funeral services and 
burial were conducted this morning at New Hope church and cemetery, Chambers 
County, by Rev. G. D. Hunt, with Hunter in charge. Surviving are two sons, L. H. 
of Roanoke, and Arnold, of Five Points; one daughter, Mrs. Homer Hester, of 
Roanoke; three sisters, Mrs. Gert Davis and Jake Duncan, of Langdale, and Mrs. 
Preston Butler, of West Point; two brothers, Jeff Richards of Roanoke, and Hard 
Richards, of Camden.
