Brummitt Mrs. Marv G. Brummitt, 84, of Camp Hill, Ala., passed away Friday, at her residence. Funeral services will be held from Mt. Lovely Baptist Church Camp Hill, Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2003, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. W.F. Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Brummitt Cemetery, Camp Hill. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Sept. 2, from 6-7 p.m., at Vines Funeral Home Chapel, LaFayette. Mrs. Brummitt was born February 19, 1919 in Chambers County, Ala. She was a member of Mt. Lovely Baptist Church, Camp Hill, where she served in the senior choir and was president of the missionary society for approximately 20 years. She was a member of the Ricks Chapter 217 Order of Eastern Star for 59 years. Her husband, Curtis Brummitt, preceded her in death. Mrs. Brummitt is survived by two sons, Frank David (Joanne) Hill of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Curtis Jerome Brummitt, of Tuskegee; two daughters, Judy G. Lane and Mary Alfredia Brummitt, both of Camp Hill; one grandson, Christopher Brummitt of Camp Hill; a daughter in-law, Janet Brummitt of Camp Hill; a brother in-law, the Rev. Richard Harper of Auburn; devoted friends, Deloris Williams, Ethel Earl, Louise Kellum and Vera Hart, all of Camp Hill; caregivers, Sylvia Hull and Mary V. Oberkor, both of Camp Hill; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Vines Funeral Home, Inc. LaFayette, Ala. is handling the arrangements.
