Funeral services for the Rev. Samuel Madison Penn 87 who died Thursday in the 
Coweta General Hospital in Newnan after a long illness will be held at 2 pm (CDT) 
Sunday at the Antioch Congregational Christian Church in Roanoke Ala. Burial will 
be in the church cemetery. The Rev Penn a native of Paulding County was the son 
of the late William Taylor Penn. He was a graduate of Atlanta Theological 
Seminary with an ABBL degree. He has held pastorates in North Carolina Georgia 
and Alabama before his retirement. Survivors include two daughters seven sons 
including S. M. Penn of Macon three brothers, two sisters, 17 grandchildren and 
eight great-grandchildren. Quattlebaum Funeral Home of Roanoke is in charge.
