However, Mr. Ruffin had been in poor health for some time. The services were conducted by Rev. S.L. Heath and Rev. Paul Weekley. Interment was in the Lanett Cemetery, Johnson and Blakely funeral Directors, in charge of arrangements. Mr. Ruffin was born in Chambers County and was a member of the Baptist church in Fredonia where he lived for many years. He had scores of friends in that community as well as in the Valley who are deeply grieved at his passing.
