Roanoke Leader
On the criminal docket of circuit court in Wedowee this week were three murder 
cases. Two were continued, and the other resulted in a 10-year sentence. R. D. 
Bailey, alias R. D. Huguley, colored, charged with second degree murder in the 
icepick slaying of L. C. Sims, colored, was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment.
