Funeral Held for Cusseta Man at Shawmut
Mr. Arthur H. Smith died Wednesday, September 25, at the home of his daughter, 
Mrs. Orville Brown near Cusseta.  He was a kind and loving father and numbered 
his friends by the hundreds.
The remains were brought to the home of Mrs. Eula Morris in Shawmut where 
funeral services were conducted by Rev. Earle Trent, pastor of Shawmut Baptist 
Church.
Interment was in the Shawmut cemetery, Johnson and Co., funeral directors in 
charge.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, four sons, two daughters, 14 grandchildren 
and two brothers, beside a number of other relatives.
