The LaFayette Sun March 23, 1904
Resolution of Respect.
	Hall of Hickory Flat Lodge, No. 362, Stroud, Ala., Feb., 1904.
	Whereas, God, in his infinite wisdom, as see fit to remove from the 
scenes of his earthly pilgrimage our brother I. R. Stephens, and Whereas, in so 
doing our lodge has sustained an irreparable loss, therefore be it, Resolved, 
that we recognize the hand of God in this affliction, believing that he doeth 
all things well.
	That we acknowledge our love and appreciation of the many noble traits 
of character of the deceased.
	That a copy of these resolutions be spread on our minutes, a copy 
furnished the widow of the deceased and one for publication in the LaFayette 
Sun.
