LaFayette Sun February 24, 1904
In Memory.
Death visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. O. P. Yates on Feb. 5th and took away 
their little daughter, Annie Maude.
She stayed on this earth a short time, when Our Father, who makes no mistakes, 
saw best to take the tender flower from this earth, and carry it to the better 
world.
She leaves a father and mother to mourn her departure.
            Sweet little darling, light of the home,   
            Waiting in Heaven, beckoning come,
            Bright as a sunbeam, pure as the dew,
            Patiently awaiting, father and mother for you.
