The LaFayette Sun October 19, 1910

Little Clifton Yates, who was sick with diphtheria last week, died yesterday 
evening about 4 o'clock. Clifton was a bright little boy. He was six years old. 
Mr. and Mrs. O. P. Yates, I know you feel sad today, but lean on 
the "everlasting Arm" that will safely carry you through the troubles and 
trials of this life. When the pearly gates are opened little Clifton and his 
little sister, who preceded him several years ago will welcome you into Heaven. 
Clifton will be buried at Antioch Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The writer 
extends sympathy to the bereaved ones.
