Born July 15, 1858 in Chambers County, Ala.
Died March 22, 1950 at Marcoot, Chambers County, Ala.
Buried at Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery
Married 1st in 1892 to Serena Elizabeth Roberts (1872-1911)
Married 2nd to Lola Sanders (1879-1940)
 
Children of William M. & Serena Roberts Wilkerson:
 
1.  Edgar Wilkerson (1894-1953), married Ida Lavonia Sims.
2.  Volmer Lee Wilkerson (1896-1918).  WWI, killed in France.
3.  Willie Lewis Wilkerson (1898-1969), married Mamie Sanders.
4.  Angie Nettie LeMerle Wilkerson, (1901-1987),  married 1st B. H. Brewster, 
2nd C. R. Gauntt.
5.  Annie Pearl Wilkerson, (1903-1983), married J. A. Borders.
6.  Robert Morgan Wilkerson, (1905-1961), married Charlie V. Smith.
7.  Wyatt Grady Wilkerson, (1911-1911).
