Norman was the son of Sidney L. and Mary Emma Wood Smith. He was born June 23, 
1952 in Chambers County and was a member of the Emanuel Baptist Temple in 
Lanett.
Survived by his Mother, Mary Emma Smith, three sisters; Phyllis Shurden, Mary 
Ellen Langley, Sharon LaCombe and one brother; Wallace Smith. Also survived by 
six children and one grandchild.
At age 43 he passed at his residence on September 27, 1995. 
Cause of death; Cancer.
