Edmond Hollis Danford was born March 9, 1927 in Shawmut, AL to Charlie Lee and
Arrie Elizabeth Smith Danford. He was the husband of Glover Louvinia Lankford
Danford and the father of one daughter, Patricia Thompson and one son, Steven
Danford.
Hollis was the owner of Danford's Metal Works in Valley. He was a veteran of
World War II and the Korean War.
He died February 17, 2002 at the age of 74 at his residence.

Additional Comments:
Hollis is buried next to his wife, Louvinia in the same plot as his parents, his
grandmother, Eula Mae Carter Smith and  great grandfather, Calvin Carter.
