The family of William W. and Beatrice Calhoun Williams of the Hopewell 
Community. They are on the front row from the left.  

Alma Holliday remembered the night that a knock came to her parent’s door when 
she was just a child. W.W. Williams had died and they called her father to the 
home. It was snowing and the snow made her sad after that night. 

They are surrounded by their children and other relatives. They were the parents 
of Claude Williams, Tom Williams, Kate Williams Garvin, Grover Williams, and 
William Eulon Williams. All, except for Grover, are buried at Hopewell Cemetery.
