Chambers County Marriage book
I comint that marriage license may ip?? to J B Rearden and my daughter Ann A 
Switzer this 15th day of September 1856 (Signed) P P Switzer
The State of Alabama, Chambers County
Know all men by these presents, that we Jason B Rearden and Thomas G Andrews 
an hild and family bound unto the State of Alabama in the penal sum of two 
hundred dollars, for payment of which wil and truly to be made, we bind 
ourselves, and each and every one of our heirs, executers, or administrators, 
jointly and severallyfirmly by these presents sealed in our seals and dated 
this 15th day of September A D 1856.  The condition of the above obligation is 
such that if there be no lawful cause why jason B Rearden and Ann A Switzer 
should not be joined together in holy union of Matrimony, then this obligation 
to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue Sealed, signed, and 
delivered in presence of Wm S Crayton Judge of Probate.


They were married the 18th day of September 1856 by James J Haris Justice of 
the Peace
