Marriage Bond, 18 Oct. 1873
The State of Alabama
Chambers County
Know all Men by these Presents, That we, Isaac I. Smith and D. P. Smith are 
held and firmly bound unto the State of Alabama in the penal sum of two 
Hundred Dollars, to which payment, well and truly to be made, we bind 
ourselves, our heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, jointly and 
severally, firmly by these presents.
Sealed with our seals and dated this 18th day of Oct 1873.
The condition of the above Obligation is such, That if there be no legal cause 
to obstruct the Marriage of Isaac I. Smith and Emma R. Williams to whom a 
license has this day been granted, then to be void; else to remain in full 
force and virtue.
Witness our hands and seals, the day and year above written.
