Jarrell, September 15, 1832 - January 2, 1905 Malissa (Sutton) Jarrell, June 2, 1838 - April 20, 1903 ******************************************************************************** The State of Alabama Chambers County This my last will testifies that at my death my estate shall be divided among my heirs as follows: To my son S. A. Jarrell, with provisions already made I give 155 acres of land known as the Smith Place. To my granddaughter Margarett Odessa Trammell, infant of my daughter Odessa, deceased, I give 211 acres of land known as the Allen Place. To my daughter Ada Jarrell, with provisions already made I give 210 acres of land known as the Dyer Place and $300 in money. To my son G. E. Jarrell, with provisions already made, I give 50 acres of land known as the Carmichael Place. To my grandson Geo. B. Jarrell, heir of Jno. H. Jarrell, deceased, I give $400 making him to share equally with Bertha & Alonza. To my grandson Geo. J. Wise, heir of Elizabeth Wise, deceased, I give $400 making him to share equally with Minnie & Maud. I hereby appoint Jas. A. Wise, guardian for Geo. J. Wise, and W. G. Jarrell, guardian for Geo. B. Jarrell. I hereby appoint S. A. Jarrell & G. E. Jarrell, agents-in-trust for my mute daughter Ada Jarrell and for my granddaughter Margarett Odessa Trammell, to care and provide for them in the management of their part of my estate. I also appoint S. A. & G. E. Jarrell Executors to my will, and I hereby grant unto them full power of attorney to execute legal title to any or all of my property both real and personal. And I do expressly exempt from bond, and from a regular process of administration as prescribed by law, to sell at private or public sale any or all of my personal property not otherwise disposed of, and within a reasonable time from my decease, to make final settle of my entire estate by an equal division among my heirs-at-law.
