Will of Susanna Harrell, deceased
The State of Alabama
Chambers County

I, Susanna Harrell, being of an advanced age and of feeble body and knowing from
the course of nature I can not survive and wishing to arrange and settle my
earthly matters, while I am of sound mind and memory, do hereby ordain this my
last will and testament.  In the name of God.  Amen

Item 1st:  I want my body decently, but plainly buried without any show or parade.

Item 2nd  I appoint my son, Alfred Harrell, executor of my estate, to first pay
all my debts and then to execute my wishes in the manner hereafter described and
I wish to act without being required to give security.

Item 3rd  I want my four grandchilren, to wit, William H. Barrow, John W.Barrow,
Wilson L. Barrow and Samuel J. Barrow , all sons of Josepheus Barrow, to have
twelve hundred dollars out of my estate to be equally divided among them by my
executor, who I also wish to act as their guardian and retain their amounts and
pay each ones share over to them as they become of age and not before, with the
interest that may accrue thereon from the time it comes to his possession.

Item 4th  The balance of my estate of every kind of which I may be --- at my
death; I want equally divided between my four children, to wit, Henry Harrell,
Alfred Harrell, 
Thomas J. Harrell, and my daughter, Susan B. Sharpe, formerly Susan B. Harrell.

In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this the 5th day of
May 1853.
