(Aney) E. Sutton, April 17, 1807 - September 13, 1896 ******************************************************************************** State of Alabama Chambers County In the name of God. Amen. I Seaborn Sutton of said County and State being of advanced age and greatly afflicted and knowing that I must shortly depart from this world soon, I deem it right and proper both as respects of my self and family that I should make some disposition of the means which a gracious Providence has blessed me. I therefore make this my last will and testament. Item 1. I desire and direct that my body be buried in a decent manner that shall be satisfactory to my surviving family and my Soul I submit to the care of the great author that gave it whom I have desired to fear and reverence for the last half century. Item 2. I desire and direct that my just debts be paid. Item 3. I give and bequeath to my beloved companion Aney E. Sutton, the wife of my youth who has been a sharer of my joys, sorrows and afflictions for the last fifty three years less four months, my entire household furniture with my horse and buggy, and what cattle I have on hand, and One Thousand Dollars in money to be paid to her by my executors out of the first money collected of my estate to her own use as an absolute forever. Item 4. I constitute and appoint William C. Lowe and George W. Jarrell both sons-in-law, my Executors to carry out this my will, whose duty it shall be as soon as practicable after my demise to take possession of my papers and effects and go on to make collections and wind up the estate in accordance with the Law. And after the One Thousand Dollars is paid as mentioned in the 3rd item and all fees and necessary expenses is paid, and a reasonable compensation for services rendered, all under the eye and consent of the Court subtracted from the amount of the Estate, is to be equally divided between my seven heirs to wit: Sarah Jane Hubbard Francis M. Sutton The children of my daughter Mary Ann Smith, deceased Martha Lowe Melissa Jarrell Bettie Lowe And my wife Aney E. Sutton The 2nd day of August 1880. Seaborn Sutton L.S. In the presence of: W.
