At one time it was the burial ground of the Pratt family. It is located adjacent to the New Four Laned 411 Highway. Access is through the old two laned 411 Highway, East, at abt. 2245 411 Hwy. W., across the old highway from Clayton & Kelley Auto Parts, Inc., which is behind Garrett Tractor and Sonic Drive-In. This site was formerly the family burial ground located on the Pratt plantation, "Pine Knoll," although today it is a public municipal park. Pratt is credited with having invented the first practical typewriter.
