"...Whereas Jonathan M. Sarratt, of Cherokee county Alabama, has deposited in
the GENERAL LAND OFFICE of the United States, a Certificate of the REGISTER OF
THE LAND OFFICE at Lebanon, whereby it appears that full payment has been made
by the said Jonathan M. Sarratt, according to the provisions of the Act of
Congress of the 24th of April, 1820, entitled "An act making futher provision
for the sale of the Public Lands," for the South East quarter of the South West
quarter of Section twenty-six, in Township nine of Range eight, in the district
of lands formerly subject to Sale at Lebanon, now Centre, Alabama, containing
forty acres....."
