Stephens wend@bellsouth.net May 4, 2004, 11:12 am The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA., February 19, 1968, page 4 Mr. William Thomas Price, age 85, of Tecumseh, Ala., died Thursday morning, February 15, after an extended illness. He was born December 10, 1882, in Cherokee County, Ala., and had spent his entire life there, He was a member of Salem Baptist Church, a Mason and member of Zamora Shrine Temple in Birmingham, Ala. He was a retired ore mine operator. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eulena Mullinax Price; two sons, Billy C. Gammon of Rome, Ga., and Gerald A. Gammon of Atlanta; one brother, John Price of Esom Hill, Ga.; one sister, Mrs. Blanche Smith of Benton, Ark.; four grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held at 3:00 P.M. Friday from Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. Marshall Morgan, the Rev. Grady Kines and the Rev. Curtis Singleton officiating. Interment followed in Salem Cemetery. Pallbearers were Hoyt Smith, Ed Williams, Charles Howard, Danny Watters, J.P. Knight and James Price. Olin Gammage and Sons Funeral Home of Cedartown, Ga., was in charge of arrangements.
