Cherokee County Herald
Asbury Charles Hart,79,of Centre, passed away Sunday January 17, at his 
residence. He was a native of Cherokee County, a member of the Forney Masonic 
Lodge 440, a retired wheelwright with Crane Enamel and self-employed paint 
contractor and a member of the New Prospect Baptist Church Number Two.
Services were Tuesday, January 19, at 2 P.M. in the Perry Funeral Home Chapel, 
with the Rev. Tony McCain officiating. Burial was in the Cherokee Memorial 
Gardens with Perry Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Hart is survived by two daughters, Glenda Graham, and Sara J. Givins, both 
of Centre; two brothers, Sam Hart and J.C. Hart, both of Centre; two 
granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews.
He was the son of the late MO Hart and Bess Packer Hart.
